Vanessa Chu is a Web Designer, WordPress developer, and founder of DesignFaire, her design consultancy. With over 7 years of web design experience and a MA in Media Studies from Concordia University, Montreal, Vanessa is passionate about simple yet elegant designs that have the user in mind. Web communications is her specialty, and WordPress is her platform of choice. As an organizer of the Vancouver WordPress Meetup group, Vanessa is a regular contributor to the community, hosting monthly workshops and networking events for local WordPress devs and enthusiasts. Morten Rand-Hendriksen is a web designer and developer with a passion for clean design, standards-based code, and open-source software. He is a multi-year receipient of the Microsoft MVP Award for his work with Expression Web and he specializes in advanced WordPress development and customization. Morten has published several books, articles, and videos on these topics and is a popular speaker at conferences. The Creative Director of the boutique-style digital media company Pink & Yellow Media, he divides his time evenly between building web solutions and teaching others how to do things right and get the most out of the web. Anny Chih is a Business and Digital Marketing Consultant with a BBA from Simon Fraser University and over five years of marketing, public relations and business management experience in the tourism, medical, and government industries. In her previous life as a travel blogger throughout Russia, Australia and the USA, Anny updated her readers on a custom WordPress site which she currently maintains as an outlet for her regular (mis)adventures.
